With this New Year – 2014 – at the helm we awake with new goals and ideas as we gather ourselves into the clearest time of the year.
New slate. New beginnings. Bettering ourselves, opening our minds to improvement. This is probably the most vulnerable time for most of us and the most forgiving. Lose weight. Improve our lifestyle. Exercise. Learn to cook. Take a painting class. Join a gym or yoga studio. If we could embrace these thoughts year round on a balanced time schedule we would all feel better all the time!
As I sit and be; during this pending snow storm, I can feel the flakes pad the ground and my surroundings. I feel the inner peace it brings. The sounds outdoor deaden as a result. What lies beneath the enchanting snowflakes floating from the heavenly skies to earth can inspire the imagination. When we think about the elementary fact that no two flakes are alike, I think it’s natural for all of us to ponder how this can be. A snowflake is comprised of about 100 ice crystals.
On a cosmic level the rain and snow reflect different ways in which divine energy flows to us from a higher spiritual plane.
